Meet The Founder

Leah Katsos Geyshes, PT, DPT is an orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist based in the East Bay of Rhode Island. She is passionate about inspiring patients to be active participants in their rehabilitation journey and believes the best outcomes come from a collaborative approach to care.

Leah specializes in bladder health, bowel health and pelvic girdle conditions, but treats every patient through a whole-body lens. Recognizing that the body functions as an interconnected, cohesive system, she provides thoughtful, comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s goals.

Leah’s secondary specialty is the care of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) conditions. She works closely with patients and providers to help restore proper jaw function necessary for chewing, singing and tasks of daily living.

When Leah is not working with patients, she is likely to be found at the piano, on her bike, sipping coffee or spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Pricing Philosophy

Posting my rates is part of a commitment to transparency, so you can make informed decisions about your care without uncertainty.

Too often, insurance-based care can feel unclear, with costs that are difficult to predict and bills that arrive long after services are provided. We have all been there.

Cohesion PT is out-of-network with most heath insurance providers. This means no surprise bills. This also means that you have the option to submit what you have paid for services to your health insurance for possible reimbursement. Therefore, prices listed on this website are the absolute maximum you would ever pay. Let’s talk more about this so that there are no surprises.

Have you ever clicked around a website search for the price of a service, only to find that you have to submit your information before getting a quote? Me too. Let’s try this in a different way.

Despite being a seasoned expert in the field, Cohesion PT’s pricing is intentionally set below typical market rates because I place a high value on continuity of care. Meaningful, lasting progress often comes from building on each session over time, and I want that to be accessible. While some individuals may only need a single visit, more often it takes a short series of visits to fully address the issue and create sustainable change.
